This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this Site, except where stated otherwise. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

HEMPZENE is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via a purchase, email or other direct contact from you.

HEMPZENE will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We use “cookies” on this Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a Site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our Site and identify repeat visitors to our Site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our Site. “Internet Protocol” IP Address

Whenever you visit our Site, we collect information that your browser sends to us. Each computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer’s “Internet Protocol” IP address. When a visitor requests a page from this Site, our Web servers recognize that visitor’s domain name and IP address automatically. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about that visitor other than the IP address from which they have accessed the Site, pages of the Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other non-personally identifiable statistics. Orders

We request information from you on our order form. To purchase from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you. HEMPZENE will make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy wherever it collects personal information.

Registration

On occasion, other than for purchase purposes, we may request that a user completes a registration form. During registration a user may be required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our Site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Sharing

We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your order.

When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

On occasion, HEMPZENE may share your information with other unrelated outside third parties so that these third parties can directly market their products or services via e-mail, telephone and/or postal mail.

HEMPZENE may sell its business or purchase another business and personally identifiable information regarding you may be transferred as a part of the sale or purchase. If HEMPZENE or subsidiaries are ever sold, acquired, merged, liquidated, reorganized, or otherwise transferred, HEMPZENE reserves the right to transfer our user databases to a third-party together with any personally identifiable information contained therein.

HEMPZENE will disclose personal information and/or an IP address, when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (i) Protect and defend the rights or property of the HEMPZENE, or visitors to this Site; (ii) Conform to the requirements of the law or comply with legal process served on HEMPZENE; (iii) Cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities or (iv) Identify persons who may be violating the law or any HEMPZENE Policies

Security

While no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure from intrusion, we take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Site, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way via industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology to protect the storage and transfer of your data from unauthorized parties.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. If HEMPZENE ever sends you an electronic communication, it will contain an “Opt-Out” or “Unsubscribe” link allowing you to withdraw your permission for future communications. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits visitors to this Site who are residents of California to request information regarding HEMPZENE’s disclosure of their information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Effect of Changes

Effective immediately upon posting on this Site, HEMPZENE reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time in response to changing business circumstances and legal developments.
